Chuck is a reserved and active teen who likes to be busy. Chuck can be fairly quiet when you first meet him, but opens up when you recognize that the best way to interact with him is through activity. Chuck loves to be outside and is up to do just about anything. He enjoys fishing, but is always game to throw a football, kick a soccer ball or try something new! Because he is a little shy, saying something that makes him laugh is super rewarding! If Chuck could have one wish, it would be to go to Heaven. He feels church is important to him and attends on occasion.

Chuck is doing well in school academically and behaviorally. Chuck generally prefers being outside. He also has a passion for building things, using his hands, and just creating in general! Chuck would like to turn his passion for building into a career in architecture on day. He also likes to cook, do crafts, and build with Legos! Chuck does extremely well when given responsibilities and tasks; he loves to be helpful by doing chores and cleaning which is pretty unique for a teenager!

He has relationships with family members and ongoing communication with his birth mother and family members is important to Chuck. Presently, he has visitation with his birth mother in the Southeastern region of Pennsylvania. A prospective family will need to be able to support his relationships.

Chuck is not legally free for adoption; however, when a permanent resource is identified the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.

Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN1-800-585-SWAN to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
