Biography
Janelle is a talented, lovable, and caring young lady, who wants to be a part of a family. Janelle is outgoing and loves to talk to others. She enjoys playing with her siblings and going out to eat, especially for Chinese or Italian cuisine. When Janelle is able to go outside, she likes to practice her gymnastics. She is interested in sports, such as volleyball and basketball. She enjoys listening to country music. Her favorite singers would include Carrie Underwood and Tim McGraw. Janelle enjoys school except math, and her favorite subject in school is reading. Some of Janelle’s other favorite things are pizza and the color pink. When Janelle is older, she would like to be an EMT because she loves to help others in need.

Penelope is a funny, quiet, and friendly young girl, who can’t wait to find her forever home. She can tend to be shy around her peers until she builds a rapport with them. Penelope enjoys being outside, playing tag, swimming, jumping on the trampoline, and going to the park. When Penelope is indoors, she enjoys cheerleading, eating pizza, and watching movies, especially Madagascar. She also enjoys reading. Her favorite book series is Junie B. Jones. Penelope enjoys playing hide and seek and drawing with her brother and other foster siblings. Penelope is interested in becoming a dentist when she is older. Penelope said that she is working on paying attention to her surroundings, boundaries, and following the rules. Her foster mother of almost two years says, “She has a wonderful personality and has improved her boundaries of personal space. She likes to meet new people and is more drawn to talk to adults rather than kids her age.”

Carter is a well mannered, talkative, and lovable young boy, who is excited to have a family. He can be shy around others at first, but once you build a rapport with him he loves to talk. Carter loves playing outside with his sister and other foster siblings. He mainly enjoys going swimming and doing cannon balls in the pool. He also enjoys playing tag and cops and robbers. When Carter plays inside, he enjoys playing with cars and trucks. Also, he loves ninja, cheerleading, and doing arts and crafts. Carter stated that he would love to become a truck driver or a police officer when he grows up.

Carter said that he is working on sharing with others. He would love to share his toys with his future family and siblings. His foster mother of nearly two years says, “He has a wonderful imagination and can entertain himself. He has progressed greatly while in a home setting and loves to talk.” Carter would love to be in a family with other kids as he likes the thought of having a big family. He would especially like an older brother to whom he could look up to. He would like to have pets; especially cats. He said that cats make him very happy and he enjoys talking with them. He would like a family, who goes to the movies and out to eat. He likes pizza! He would love to go on vacations with his forever family to the beach.

Janelle, Penelope, and Carter can build meaningful relationships with others they can trust. They would do best in a family, who can set clear expectations, have structure, and have a lot of patience.

Janelle would love to spend quality time with her future family whether it is watching movies on the couch or going out to eat. She would like a family who is able to help her overcome her past and will be nurturing to her. Janelle would also like them to be able to listen to her ideas and concerns when she has them. She sees a family as people who are kind, caring and loving.

Penelope would love to be in a family, where she can have older siblings and animals. She enjoys being around animals because she stated that they cheer her up. She would love to go with her future forever family to the park.

Carter would like a family, who will love him. He would like the family to know that he does not like the dark or loud noises.

This sibling group is not yet legally free for adoption; however, when a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
