Bryan(Age 13)
Joey and Bryan are two wonderful brothers.

Joey is a happy child who will not hesitate to give you a big smile upon first meeting. Joey likes to play video games and aspires to be a game developer in the future. He enjoys a variety of foods and would be happy to share a meal with you. In school, Joey has made good progress; he advanced two years in academic levels. He transitioned at the beginning of the school year to the local middle school due to his academic and behavioral progress.

Bryan is a friendly, bright, and inquisitive child. Bryan loves to be outdoors, whether he is playing sports or going fishing with his foster father. He is a social child who is often found spending time with friends. He is interested in learning more about cars and becoming a mechanic in the future. Count Bryan in for a seafood feast, especially if it includes crab and shrimp. Bryan also made good progress in achieving his goals last school year. His teachers describe him as a mannerly and polite student who has made significant academic gains over the past school year.

After school you will find the boys outdoors at the local playground/park. They are also both very talented at drawing and enjoy showing off their artistic abilities. It is amazing how well Joey and Bryan are doing in their foster home. Both boys made a good adjustment to their foster home and quickly acclimated to the household routine. They never complain about doing chores. Their foster mother describes them as good kids who are well-behaved and respectful. Both boys respond well to praise and positive reinforcement. They have also done well with the support that they have received in the home.

Joey and Bryan currently have visits with their birth parents in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Any family that is interested in providing permanency for these boys would need to be willing to maintain visitation.

Joey and Bryan are not yet legally free for adoption.
Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
