Biography

Mikey is an inquisitive child who is eager to be part of the grown-up world. He is reserved and takes time to warm up to others before he can trust them. Once he does, he is loving and caring. Mikey is protective of his little sister Mya and takes pride in being her big brother. Mikey is an artist; and loves Japanese anime. He loves to draw different characters as well as watch different anime shows.

Mya loves to be around people; she makes friends easily, and a social butterfly. She is full of life and energy. Mya attends preschool, but she will be ready to begin school this fall. She adores her older brother Mikey, and they share a strong sibling bond. Mya loves watching “Paw Patrol” and “Combo Panda.”

Mikey and Mya’s ideal forever family is loving, patient and provides a lot of structure. They would like a two-parent family with pets, but no other siblings in the home.

Parental rights have not been terminated for Mikey and Mya.

Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN1-800-585-SWAN to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
