Michaela is a bright, energetic, and outgoing girl. She has a passion for music and dancing and really likes showing off her moves to the Kidz Bop YouTube playlist all day. She, also, shines like a star on the stage at her dance recitals. When she is not dancing or listening to music, Michaela enjoys spending time watching television shows and movies on the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Michaela enjoys spending time with her two younger siblings, Miguel and Mia.
Miguel is an active, assertive, and sensitive boy. He has a knack for gaming and loves playing video games on his tablet and Xbox. Like his older sister, he enjoys watching the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, though, Pokémon is one of his favorites to watch. When he is not playing games or watching television, Miguel enjoys expressing his creativity by building and constructing things. He also expresses his energetic nature through athletic play. He is the middle child with two sisters, Michaela and Mia.
Mia is a sweet and spunky little girl who will steal your heart with her adorable smile. She is a bubbly energizer bunny and is enthusiastic about all kinds of active outdoor play including: running, climbing, water play, and pretend play. Aside from being outdoors, Mia loves to eat. She enjoys trying new foods with bold, savory flavors. Some of her favorites include onions, banana peppers, and pickles. Mia, also, enjoys spending time with her two older siblings, Michaela and Miguel.
Michaela, Miguel, and Mia have a strong connection and are looking for a family where they can live together. Michaela and Miguel are closer in age, which can lead to some personality clashes, but when they are not caught up in sibling squabbles they are actually quite sweet to each other. They enjoy giving each other hugs, tickles, and encouraging notes. There is a larger age gap between the older siblings and Mia but she keeps up with them. She and Michaela are like two peas in a pod and they even have special nicknames for each other. Mia and Miguel enjoy active, outdoor activities together.
It is important to the siblings that they are able to stay connected with their birth mother in some way post-adoption. They would benefit from living with a family who is patient and has a flexible schedule that is able to meet their needs. All three children are able to adjust to a home with other children, however, they connect better with older siblings.
Michaela, Miguel, and Mia are not yet legally free for adoption.
Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN1-800-585-SWAN
to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
