Felicity is a beautiful and outgoing young lady. When asked what words she would choose to describe herself, Felicity used creative, caring, and compassionate. You only have to spend a small amount of time with Felicity to agree with her description. Felicity enjoys assisting with the daily care of the animals in her current foster home. Her favorite subject in school is science as she enjoys learning about the physical and chemical changes in the ecological system. Wouldn’t you love to learn about this with her? Felicity enjoys being outside playing basketball. She dreams of being a professional basketball player when she grows up and hopes her forever family will support her either on the court or from the bleachers.

Kandie is a beautiful young lady who has a smile that can light up a room. She keeps busy by journaling, playing on the playground, swinging with her siblings, and watching the Disney channel. Does your family think they have enough energy to keep up with Kandie? Kandie enjoys school and her favorite subject is math. She can tell you all about the different strategies that help solve the problem. Pizza is Kandie’s favorite food and if you add pepperoni topping, she will be even more excited about dinner. What gets Kandie more excited than pepperoni pizza? Cheerleading. Kandie would love to be a professional cheerleader; it is important to her that her forever family be able to support her cheerleading interest.

William is an adorable toddler with chunky thighs and squeezable cheeks! He often has a smile on his face and squeals in delight when he sees anyone he recognizes. His daily activities are those of a typical toddler. He enjoys spending time outside, especially on the swings. He has so much fun that it is often hard to convince him to come inside. Inside, William enjoys being read to; his favorite stories are any involving Mickey Mouse. William is overall a healthy eater, however he sometimes needs convincing to eat his vegetables.

Felicity and Kandie are open to a one or two-parent family who will provide permanency for them and their younger brother. They do have telephone contact with their step-paternal grandparents and would like this contact to continue after adoption.

Felicity, Kandie, and William are legally free for adoption. For more information about these children, call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN and or have your worker contact Elizabeth Teeters via telephone or email eteeters@concern4kids.org.
Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
