Lorelei is a creative, quirky, intelligent, and humorous young lady. Lorelei enjoys spending her free time playing video games, drawing, watching anime, and watching television. Lorelei works part-time at McDonalds and loves earning her own paycheck. She would benefit from some adult guidance on how to spend/save her money wisely. She has formed close, positive relationships with her co-workers and is reportedly respectful and courteous of her managers. Lorelei is aware of the plan to identify a permanent resource and is eager and excited to be a part of her own recruitment efforts.

Lorelei currently attends regular education and is in high school. Her teachers report that she is a joy to have in class, as she has developed positive relationships with her peers and staff. Lorelei also participates in Independent Living classes, which is important as she works towards learning how to be more independent.

Lorelei is legally free for adoption. She is an adaptable teen and could easily live in a variety of households, including single or two-parent households, with families who have other children, and homes with any type of pet. Lorelei will need a family willing to provide her with the support, encouragement, and guidance she needs to prepare for adulthood and help her learn how to make positive, wise choices for her future.

To learn more about Lorelei please call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN or have your family recruiter contact Jordyn Ferrari at jferrari@northamptoncounty.org.

Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN1-800-585-SWAN to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
