Meet Charlie and Emmett, brothers who are looking for a forever family… could that be you?
Charlie is quiet and friendly. He enjoys drawing, playing video games, and spending time outside; as a matter of fact, his favorite activities are skateboarding, riding his bike, and walking. He likes rap music, particularly Montana and Eminem. When asked what his favorite food was, he said “ice cream, but I don’t have a favorite flavor, as I enjoy any kind of ice cream.” He’s in regular education and attends a technical school where he takes culinary classes as he has a strong desire to be a chef one day.
Emmett is outgoing and likes joking around with others. He enjoys playing video games, riding his bike, and fishing. His favorite singers are Bruno Mars and Eminem. When asked, he stated his favorite foods were pizza and chocolate. He also joked that he doesn’t just like chocolate, but that he loves any type of junk food. Emmett loves suspense-filled movies: in particular, he loves watching the “Resident Evil” and “Final Destination” series. He usually has a smile on his face and is easy-going, getting along well with others. He likes school, earns good grades, and aspires to be a welder.
Charlie and Emmett need a family who are willing to keep them together. They would like a family with at least one female caregiver. Could you be the family this sibling group is looking for?
Charlie and Emmett are not legally free for adoption, however when a permanent resource is identified the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.

Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN1-800-585-SWAN
to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.
