Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.

Biography

Mark is a healthy and active young man who enjoys playing sports with his friends. He also likes to watch sports on television. Mark favorite sports to watch and to play are hockey and baseball. Mark gets along well with other children his age as well as with adults. He is able to follow rules and complete tasks that are given to him. In school, Mark has an independent education plan, or IEP, to address some academic delays.

Mark’s present foster home has a dog and a cat. Mark treats the animals with care and respect. Mark has a younger sibling with whom he visits and would like to maintain contact.

All families will be considered for Mark. He is not yet legally free for adoption.
