Biography

Sarah is a young lady with a kind and good heart who recently graduated from high school. She participated in the Special Olympics and received three gold medals in swimming. In the past, she participated in bowling, track and long distance walking. Sarah is part of a mentoring program at the local YWCA that allows her to enjoy various projects with other agencies and also helps her interact with other teenage girls in the community. Sarah likes wearing bracelets and showing people new ones when she gets them.

Sarah is helpful and does extra chores in her group home. She helps cook dinner and keeps her room neat and tidy. She will be participating in a program through the local school district that will teach her the skills she needs to live on her own. Sarah maintains monthly visits with her maternal grandmother. Sarah would very much like to find her forever family.

All families will be considered for Sarah, and she is legally free for adoption.
