Biography

Melanie is a energetic young lady with a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She describes herself as funny, cute, really weird and creative. She is upbeat and enthusiastic. Melanie enjoys dancing, jumping around, doing arts and crafts, playing baseball and football, and cheerleading. She also likes spending time with her friends. Melanie enjoys listening to rap, hip hop and Christian rap music. Her favorite television shows are “Hannah Montana,” “Family Guy” and “The Simpsons.” She also likes the movie “Fame.” Melanie is a helpful person and would like to be a fire fighter, police officer, doctor or nurse when she is older. She currently participates on her school’s color guard team.

Melanie is most proud of the fact that she is emotionally strong. If given four wishes, they would be to travel to Africa, live with friends, have all the money in the world and go to Heaven. Melanie would like to visit Africa to learn about her culture and music.

Melanie wants to be adopted. She would like a family with a mom and dad or single mom and older sisters and pets. Melanie would do well in a home where she is the youngest child. Melanie says she needs structure and rules and does not want to be spoiled.

All families will be considered for Melanie. She is not yet legally free for adoption.
